Network Marketing Pro: How To Recruit 20 People In 30 Days

Why is DIRECT MARKTEING or Network Marketing the wave of the future

Direct marketing simply means “no middle man”. ie: you’re not selling to a retailer or wholesaler. You’re selling direct to the consumer.

Now if you’re doing a network marketing business then you need a downline. So to do that you can use this downline building system: Learn to Build Your Downline Fast

Direct marketing is a massively growing field. I think mainly because it’s sort of like this, a lot of startups have no budget at all. So they can’t hire employees. How do you hire any employees when you have on money right? You can’t.

So instead one option that a startup business has is they can begin their business as a network marketing company  (aka direct marketing). That way you can start getting independent distributors (aka employees) without needing any budget. As the direct marketers (downline, distributors, or rep’s) will attempt to earn their keep by making sales, and signups, rather than the company owner paying them a salary. Plus it gives the rep's the added benefit of no glass ceiling or restrictions on how fast they can grow within the company. They can climb the ranks as fast as they want. Rather than being stuck in the same position for years on end without any advancements.

Now think about this, this has sponned a huge revolution. Thousands and thousands of direct marketing companies popping up everywhere. Mainly because often they have very limited startup capital to work with. Their’s little to no budget to be hiring tons of people. And besides they have no proven business model yet so again they can’t hire anyone, hardly at all.

So that’s just one reason why the Direct marketing industry is well into the trillions already. And it’s growing year by year. Direct marketing is the sort of the wave of the future in a lot of ways. And their's a lot of critics obviously to this business model. But really there's no perfect system. Every business system has it's advantages and disadvantages. And MLM has some of it's own headaches obviously. But generally speaking it has a lot of upside as well.

Getting breifly back to the whole traditional employeed/employer business blueprint. Typically to get hired into a company at a decent position, the applicant would need to not only have a college degree in their field, but also typically they'd need to demonstrate that they have experience in the field. And then pass a rigorous interview process. So out of a 1000 applicants, just one gets the job. But doesn't really get the job per say. They only get a 3 month probationary period. They get "tried out". So that's a MASSIVE BURDEN on the individual who wants to "try this job". All the burden is on the employee. However, the advantage is that it does come with a guaranteed salary. But they have to show up 9-5, be able to perform well, etc etc etc. So it's a very stressful situation.

So with direct marketing my thought is this. You can literally get hired with "no education", no experience, no interview, and no probationary period. Typically you might pay 100 dollars for a distributor kit and "your in". Your part of a big company. And you now have the ability to start to earn a paycheck as well. Plus you can even set your own hours with no boss hovering over your shoulder demanding you perform and seeing how effective you are (or else you fired). Of course your sort of getting "tried out" as well, so the catch is no paycheck up front. And in some cases you might need to even buy a bit of product. Then if you work 40 hours a week, with a proven game plan, likely within a year or so you'll be doing okay. And likely within 3-5 years you could be doing extremely well as you start to build your downline.

So comparing the two scenarios there's pluses and minuses to both. But one has to consider a few key factors. To get through a college or university degree could cost easily 50,000 dollars (plus years of time to complete it, and time is money too). To get any experience on the job, that too takes years of time commitments. So all that just to qualify for an interview for a decent job. Now sure you can apply with no background but you simply stand no chance of getting the job because your competing against far most skilled people. So needing all that just to start "interviewing" (with no guarantee of a job). Compared to just paying say 100 to join something, maybe another 100 on some products. So say 200 dollars out of pocket up front, and YOUR IN! It's like night and day.

That's why I sort of think the work force is ever evolving and network marketing has a far lower barriers of entry compared to the traditional route of just trying to get job. Most people hate their jobs. Most people have their first heart attack on monday morning between the hours of 7am and 9am. So I just think that again, even though there is a lot of blow back against the mlm industry, you have to admit it does offer a lot of advantages as well for someone who wants to find a way to make a living outside of the traditional ways. I think that's why direct marketing has grown so dramatically over the last 50+ years.

How to make a living doing network marketing

I think you could make a living at most main stream MLM businesses. You’d have to be prepared to work full time though if you want to succeed. That means 40 hours a week at least. Then even work part of saturday.

You need a good strategy as well. Typically you need a main locally held meeting. Also Mark Hughes explains the process in some of their training videos on youtube.

So this is a rough overview of a meeting strategy.

Step 1: Your need to be part of an MLM business

STEP 2: You set up 2–3 meetings per week. You can do that on meetup.com which works great for that. Or just do it yourself for free.

Step 3: Your role now inbetween meetings is you go around trying to find people to come out to the meeting. You need to network. Talk to people. Anyone. Hey how are you... you want to come to a little party we're holding? That kind of thing. You have some sort hook to get them out to the meeting. ie: free door prize. Free coffee, donuts, snacks, and free product samples. that will get people in the door. Their bored after work. They know theirs free food, free coffee, and people to talk to, they’re curious, some will come out. Maybe 1 out of 4 on average.

Step 4: If they say they’ll come out, then say “okay I’ll make a note that you’re coming” or something like that. Then have a second person from the company who’s also a leader in the business who’s coming to the meeting, call or text each prospect to confirm they’re gonna make it. It reminds them of the meeting. Do that the night before. But have someone else in the company confirm their attendence, not you. That way they'll feel more obligated and interested in actually coming out.

Step 5: Then you go to the meeting. The meeting is where you have someone who’s good at doing sales presentations, explain the opportunity. Keep it short, not hours and hours. 1 hour TOPS.  If no one is very good at it, you can start by just watching a company video on youtube or something. The video will do much of the selling for you. Also have lively music playing in the background. Like Tina Turner’s Your simply the best. Or just whatever you can think of to liven up the atmosphere. When you're done presenting the closing should sound like this. "Okay so I know some of you might want to join tonight. And you can do so by going to that table and Jillian will sign you up. Oh and by the way, we're having another meeting on "saturday", so those of you that join now, on saturday anyone coming in after you could end up in your downline, if you join now." That's one example of closing to the sales presentation to get them more motivated to join. Their given a chance to get in ahead of others, and those others could be added under them. And if so if you say they're getting others, they actually should be too. And that will motivate them once they see that they're getting some spillover into their downlines. Now taken to the next level, you get someone who joined up there talking to the group. So they then explain how they joined last monday and now they already had some of that spill over happen. And now they have 2-4 people or whatever, that were placed under them. So this reinforces this idea that if the member joins "now", they'll get possibly some spill over in the next few meetings.

Step 6: By the end of the meeting some will join you. Or if no one does, that’s fine. But just do a follow up with those that came out. Some will need multiple exposures to your mlm business in order to first get comfortable with it before they join.

Step 7: Then if they join. You also have them come out to weekly training meetings. There you do trainings on how to do the business. Also you sit down with them and explain to them the process. You explain to them that you try and invite people out to the meeting. And get them to get started doing that by creating a list of people they know that might be interested in coming out.

Conclusion: So this is a easily duplicatable process. The new rep’s job is simply to invite people out to the opportunity meeting. That’s all they have to do. If done right then you can start to grow your business this way. Then eventually if you get enough people to join, a few shinning stars will emerge and they’ll continue the process to build their own huge downlines.

How do I become a successful network marketer....

This is important…..

I’ll give you the bottom line… AND I MEAN BOTTOM LINE….

Like in anything in life. You have to BECOME IT FIRST.

Your not waiting for ranks, paychecks, awards, any of that. You joined something and you're gonna use this growth hack to become an "instant success". It's a secret method used by all the greats you can ever think of...

So if you want to be a successful network marketer, it has zero to do with your rank, zero to do with your paycheck. Those are completely irrelevant.

What you have to do is cultivate a belief on the “inside” in your mind, that “I AM A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS PERSON”. You do that by saying it to yourself or thinking that thought over and over day after day. You're reprogramming your mind by doing so. Replacing old doubting beliefs.

Don’t worry about anything else. Just start to believe that you are a success. If you’ve bought a distributor kit, and are now doing the business, even if you’ve signed up a grand total of “0” downline, it doesn’t matter. If you’ve joined and believe you are a successful network marketer then you are, and you’ll gradually rise up in your company.

IMPORTANT: (mega important) Don’t wait until you get a paycheck. Don’t wait until you get a downline. Don’t wait for any of that.

If you’ve joined an MLM then you are a network marketer. And now if you simply believe you are successful at it, then you are. All the trappings and material wealth will come later on as you keep believing in what you’re doing.

Be prepared to fail 100 times to find 1 success

To be an entrepreneur is to learn to get comfortable with failure. Rocky said, (Sulvester Satlone) be prepared to fail 100 times to find 1 success. Robert Kyosoki says it's about 1 in 10. So it's somewhere between that roughly. You'll need to try a few dozen things to find one business that works. But it doesn't matter what you try, they all have their advantages and disadvantages.

The industries that have more solid systems, ie: franchises like: McDonalds and Subway, cost hundreds of thousands or millions to join. And that still doesn't guarantee you success. I seen this one Subway franchise fail because a gas station sign was blocking it's signage. So it's stupid stuff like that. Another popular franchise I seen, the landlord jacked up the rent on the owner and forced him out of that location. Mainly because he wanted to rent the location to someone else who was willing to pay a lot more. Or perhaps take something like Real estate investing for example...., again, it's safer but you need massive amounts of money to get started, and many years of training. And if there's a downturn in the economy you could end up in trouble as well.

So for a large segment of the population, their only realistic viable option is to either start some kind of small business or do MLM. There's a lot of advantages to MLM in that it's low start up cost, doesn't leave you penniless if it doesn't work out. Plus you can build a team giving you leverage. And it provides the complete ready made turnkey system to allow you to join and start making money. So there is a huge upside to it.

Every business has pluses and minus though. Not just MLM. I'd rather risk 200 on a mlm distributor kit any day than, buy a full time job for hundreds of thousands joining some expensive franchise. At least if the MLM doesn't work out you're not left bankrupt. It's no sweat. You'll have forgotten all about it by next week. Where as a major business failure, where you lose your life savings can set you back light years, and even end up causing significant psychological damage. This is critical too because you can get it "wrong many times" on a small scale and still keep going. But if you get it wrong once on a big scale you could actually end up "ruined", in so many ways. It's not worth those "big losses". Mainly because like I said before it's going to take you several dozen attempts to find one that really takes off (typically speaking), so you have to be able to bounce from one to the next without breaking a sweat.

But again, getting back to the start, you need to try dozens of things. Also if you're not comfortable with failure then just stick to a day job. Entrepreneurship isn't for everyone. In reality it can be a bit more difficult than just having a day job. But the biggest upside is mainly that your your own boss. So you can set your own hours. Do what you want and not having to punch a clock or answer to any boss. And you can earn far more income in the long run. good luck.
